Yes - the pre-cruise clothes that we/I may need later like day 3 or even day 4 to head back home ... Being that the cruise is a 4 day, you won't be able to do much cleaning. Probably just what you bring on that needs to be cleaned and possibly stuff from your first day. Since our sailing is 2 weeks, I figure we'll pack for 10 days and wash what needs it on day 8 or 9, which IIRC are both sea days before a marathon of port days. A full load of laundry could cost you the same as bringing a 3rd person along for the ride. Service desk has been handing out laundry tokens (free!) for the last several months.

Coast Guard for incidents that arise at any time during the voyage.
I’d probably also avoid sending beaded or sequined dresses or tops. If you don’t have enough quarters (or equivalent coins if your ship’s currency isn’t USD), just visit Guest Services for change. Clothing send to the laundry on Virgin Voyages ships will be returned by 5.30 pm the next day. However, you can request a same-day service for an extra $20. The set pricing per item means that you pay the same whatever the item is – so you’ll pay $5 to have an evening dress washed but also $5 for a pair of socks.
How Much Does It Cost to Do Laundry on a Princess Cruise Ship?
Doing laundry on a cruise ship is sometimes a necessity, especially if you’re cruising for two weeks or more, taking back-to-back cruises or are cruising with a baby. You can prevent wrinkled clothing on a cruise by choosing crease-resistant fabrics, rolling rather than folding, using a hard shell suitcase and unpacking as soon as you arrive. If your clothes are still creased, options include using an iron in the launderette, sending them to be pressed, or using a hair iron or wrinkle release spray. MSC Cruises offer laundry packages with 10 items for €15, 20 items for €25 or 40 items for €40. If you book your laundry package online before your cruise you can save 15% on these prices. You can see a full Marella laundry price list below, though it’s a little out of date now – prices are between 10p and 50p more per item.

Here’s a table that compares the laundry prices for each cruise line. The cheapest cruise lines for laundry are Princess Cruises, Disney Cruise Line and Fred.

The water they use to wash is extremely hot so I wouldn't put anything in there that you don't mind shrinking a bit. I have sent things out to be "cleaned" and have not had much issue. They are great at pressing shirts but boy not my husband's khaki golf shorts. Also, I pack things that will do double duty, for instance black jeans/slacks and a range of colored T shirts. The only thing extra that I pack that may be "cruise only" is a black sport coat that weighs 20 ounces.
The line also has self-service launderettes aboard Maasdam, Veendam, Amsterdam and Prinsendam, which leaves HAL's fleet in July 2019.
