In 2017, the Spetters decided it was time to transition to the next phase of their lives, and chose to hand off the business to the next owners, Ron and Carolyn Zhiss. The Zhiss’s brought their unique skillset and knowledge base to the business, and learned the Hoosier Closets way from the Spetters. They shepherded the business throught the pandemic, which, challenging as it was, turned out to be a time of strong growth. They grew and polished the business for 5 years before they decided they were ready for something else, which was when the business changed hands for the 2nd time.
